Flexibility

Revolutions Performance Inc selected a Dyno Dynamics All Wheel Drive (AWD), eddy current dyno for our exacting tuning requirements. This dyno has capabilities well beyond those of the more common inertia dyno. The Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno has the flexibility to handle all drivetrains:

Eddy Current = Control

A Dyno Dynamics eddy current dynamometer has very light weight rollers. It also has a speed measurement system. In addition the Dyno Dynamics has an electromagnetic retarder that allows a precise load to be applied to the rollers. This load can be used at steady speed as well as during acceleration. The load can be easily varied to simulate any road or track condition.

Advantages Over Common Inertia Dynos

An inertia dyno cannot apply load unless the vehicle is accelerating. This makes it impossible to test a car on a level road at steady speed on flat roads or up hill, or slowing down due to hills etc. In addition, an inertia dyno makes it impossible to properly tune a vehicle at anything other than maximum acceleration! A Dyno Dynamics dynamometer can easily test a car at any speed and at any load simulating any condition of speed, incline or decline! For example, the dyno can hold a vehicle at say 50% throttle and 3,500 RPM while optimizing the air to fuel ratio or timing. This is how you achieve a properly tuned vehicle for driveability as well as maximum performance at full throttle!

Revolutions Performance has equipped this dyno with TWIN Eddy Current Retarders on the rear bed of the dyno. That means we can support vehicles with up to 2,800 HP to the rear wheels! Neptune Pricing

EEPROM System: $550 including dyno time. This system requires a compatible honda ecu such as a p28 or p72 obd1 computer. You ecu must already be "chipped" to use this system. If you have an ecu already we can chip it for you for $75 including the chipping hardware. Typical turnaround time is 1-3 days.

RTP System: $850 Including installation and tuning. This system allows you to make changes with your windows or PC based laptop after the initial tune. RTP is also available without installation or tuning for $450+ tax.

Cobb Pricing

ACCESSPORT: $595+ tax for all Subaru, Mazda and Mitsubishi ACCESSPORTS.
The ACCESSPORT is a state of the art device that allows us
to reflash your factory ecu. You can keep all of your factory
idle and cruise the same and allow for extensive upgrades such
as larger turbos, exhaust systems, nitrous, etc.

Tuning: $400 including dyno time. Take advantage of our special
and receive $100 off your first tune (within 30 days) when you buy your ACCESSPORT
hardware from US.

Addtional Maps: $100 for race gas, nitrous, e-85 etc.

Diablosport Pricing

Diablosport Predator Reflash system: $380+ tax for most obd2 (1995+) vehicles. This system is used for most Ford and Chrysler Gas Powered Vehicles.The Predator is a state of the art device that allows us to reflash your factory ecu. You can keep all of your factory idle and cruise the same and allow for extensive upgrades such as larger turbos, exhaust systems, nitrous, etc. Addtionally this system allows you to make small changes to your tune at a later date by using the handheld interface.

Diablosport Chip: $250+tax (Requires Tuning) This chip will allow us to tune your Ford Vehicle in the same manner we tune with the predator- but without the handheld interface. We can do mulitple switch on the fly maps as well for nitrous, race gas, etc.

Tuning for diablosport systems: $350 Flat Rate for naturally aspirated $400 for for forced induction

Additional Maps: $100
